VERTAIR CHAIR

(1991)

This articulated chair conforms automatically to the body’s continuously changing posture. A constant flex point in relation to the sitter’s body is maintained as the back moves downward while the seat moves forward. The patented upholstery system is made of narrow, overlapping bands of leather that are stitched to elastic bands, formally expressing the chair’s flexibility in a soft-tech look. The covering expands and contracts with the sitter’s movements while allowing the surface to breathe for greater seating comfort.
