BRIEF OFFICE SEATING

(1995)

The Brief range of office chairs is an innovative functional solution with an anatomically designed seat and back rest which can be moved around to create endless support positions. Brief can be adapted to suit the size and height of each user, thereby supporting the ever-changing posture the user adopts at work. This feature is a recommended one in leading ergonomic studies, and is a requirement of recent European Union Directives. The arm can be adjusted in height and in orientation to satisfy the complex ergonomic requirements of computer users. The seat and back are visually connected in such a way that they look like an integrated shell while in reality the seat and back supports move independently from each other. Some of the important features of the chair include height adjustment for the seat, as well as the height adjustment of both the backrest and the armrest. The angle between the seat and the back can be changed either independently from each other or following a program of synchronized adjustments.
